Graeme Thompson, after an apprenticeship with Professor Warren Jones at Flinders University South Australia, returned to W.A. and joined Concept Fertility Centre in 1990.  He was former Medical Director of Concept and currently a consultant Gynecologist there. He iis also a Clinical Lecturer in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Western Australia. His major interests are ART and infertility surgery with emphasis on laser laparoscopy, microsurgery (a dying art), ectopic pregnancy, Asherman’s syndrome and endometriosis. He has a practice in assisted reproduction and general gynecology, and has published on ectopic pregnancy treatment and subsequent beta hCG regression, single embryo transfer, assisted hatching, Asherman’s syndrome and Cardiotocography in preterm pregnancies


Men’s Sexual Health Specialist, lecturer, educator and writer

Dr Stephen Adams was trained at Cambridge University and Guys’ Hospital, London, qualifying as a doctor in 1982. He undertook General Practice training gaining diplomas in obstetrics & gynecology, family planning, and child health. He was elected MRCGP in 1987. He worked in full time General Practice in West Sussex (1986 to 1994). He is currently medical director of Integrated Sexual Health. This clinic provides assessment and treatment of all aspects of sexual health and is actively involved in education and research. He is a senior clinical lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Western Australia, a member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. He has served on Advisory Boards for Pfizer Australia, Janssen Pharmaceuticals and as a member of the Asian Pacific Erectile Dysfunction Experts Panel. Stephen consults full time at the clinic, both as a general practitioner and sexual health specialist. He is married with three daughters, a step-daughter and step-son. He plays veterans hockey and still sings regularly for choirs around Perth.


Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist and Specialist in Assisted Reproductive Therapies

Dr John Kevin Artley is a UK trained Specialist and has been involved in the field of Assisted Reproductive Therapies since 1989. Having qualified from Leicester University (UK), Master of Medicine, Master of Surgery {MB ChB) in 1984, he chose to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As part of his professional development, Kevin applied for and was offered the coveted MRC funded research post at the prestigious Cambridge University, working with the pioneering leaders of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). This is where he completed his MD ( Doctor of Medicine ). Kevin was a member of the original clinical team responsible for the design and establishment of the now world-famous Assisted Conception Unit at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He has subsequently held positions as Consultant Gynecologist in Brisbane and Research Director at Monash IVF, Melbourne, Australia before relocating back to the UK in 1995.  Here he was Medical Director of both The Private Practice at Burton  IVF Ltd and Burton Centre for Reproductive Medicine. In addition to his clinical post, he was Clinical Director for Women, Children’s and   Surgical    Services at Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A dedicated educator and previous examiner at the RCOG, UK (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), here in Perth, he enjoys teaching junior colleagues in a part-time capacity as an Emergency Department Consultant at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Subiaco. He became an examiner for The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2014. Currently also a Consultant Gynecologist at Concept Fertility Centre and Day Hospital in Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia (since October 2013-)

Souraya Jaroudi is a molecular geneticist, with fifteen years of experience in reproductive genetics and molecular diagnostics, and a certified High Complexity Laboratory Director by the American Board of Bioanalysis; PhD in Human Genetics at University College London, Souraya joined Reprogenetics UK at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences in Oxford in 2010 as a senior molecular geneticist, leading the Molecular Diagnostics Department; Laboratory Director at Reprogenetics Middle East, a laboratory she designed and helped set up for Al Ain Fertility Center in the UAE. In 2017, Souraya founded Genetic Project Studies & Consulting (GPSC) SARL, supporting companies in Europe, USA and Middle East in the establishment of genetic laboratories, the introduction and management of new clinical services and the expansion of their operations in specific sectors or regions. Currently a  Consultant for CooperGenomics. Souraya has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in the field of reproductive genetics, and has given numerous presentations and educational lectures at international conferences, MSc programmers and workshops.

Associate Director of Medical  Education and oversees training of junior doctors.

She has inventor status at Imperial for her work in developing an interactive learning resource using animations. Liz Beadle helps couples to understand the administrative processes needed to commence investigations and treatment at the Concept Fertility Centre. She assists them in choosing a Fertility Specialist, explains treatments available and the estimated associated costs. At the start, she also answers any general inquiries couples may have ensured their access to the Concept’s services is simple. Together with her expert team of Receptionists and Nurse Coordinators and the Patient Liaison Officer, she assists in scheduling couples first appointments. Liz has worked at Concept Fertility Centre for 32 years. She started at the Nurse Coordination Manager and Liz is now patient liaison officer and administration director.

He has been dealing with regulatory bodies like UKAS, HTA, PHE cancer screening, CQC ec and has led successful inspections by these organisations.He has been Lead cancer clinician for the trust where he further developed an aligned cancer care pathways between primary, secondary and tertiary care.

Shafiq became Clinical chair for Diagnostics & Outpatients Division in 2015 overseeing a workforce of around 1000  He is currently running a leadership development programme for Clinical Chairs, Clinical Directors and Heads of services.

Dr Marium Khan has specialised in Skin, Endocrine and Head & Neck pathology. She is an accredited medical appraiser. She is a member of the RCPath working group on workload management, which oversees development of national guidelines balancing safety and productivity. An examiner of RCPath Fellowship part 1& 2 examination. She is lead examiner for FRCPath part 1 examination. As an accredited mentor she provides mentorship support to other medical colleagues; organiser of East Midlands Histopathology External Quality Assurance Scheme and deals with any poor performance issued highlighted by the scheme
